Two Big Hearts

‘A Wound Full of Stars’ is two songwriters stepping into each other’s creative world and holding it carefully. Where audiences may have previously encountered them performing with a full band, this show is something quieter and more deliberate.

These are small songs written for close listening and performed in an intimate space for a small audience. The scale is intentional. Without the weight of a full band, each song has room to breathe, and the presence of two artists championing each other’s work gives the evening a warmth and generosity that is rare on stage. Jean writes with unguarded honesty — slow-burning songs drawn from life’s most intimate moments. Bon brings a classical sensibility to contemporary songwriting.

The Urunga show marks a welcome return to a region both artists hold close. Light refreshments will be available on the night.
