Over the past 6 years, award winning and Bellingen-based indie folk duo SAIJE have toured extensively across the globe; playing shows from the peaks of Swiss mountains to WA’s red soil, from cosy fireside house concerts in the depths Canada’s winter to raucous festival stages on Ireland’s west coast; but this year brings a new focus to their large catalogue of unreleased songs that they have forged alongside and inspired by their travels. The duo, comprised of Bello born and raised Shanteya and Jo, are excited to be working towards releasing their debut album and to help them record, mix, master, release and promote this music, they are playing a special hometown fundraiser concert in Bellingen at 5 Church St on Friday, 26 June. Their dynamic and uplifting show will fill the night with soulful harmonies, stirring guitar-lines and percussive breakdowns and has been transporting and unifying audiences around the world.
