Riverside Rhythms Festival
Who doesn’t love a festival with free entry? So here comes the return of the much-loved Macleay River Festival, reemerging as the Riverside Rhythms Festival.
What: Riverside Rhythms Festival
Where: Riverside Park, Kempsey
When: 05/09/2026,
Following the normal Riverside Markets on the 5th of September 2026, the River Raft Regatta will return, with a huge line-up of mainly local original music headlined by Tasman Keith and Chase the Sun. After dark, lighting will transform the riverbank into a veritable fantasy land with many innovative events and displays. Food trucks and community service providers will be on hand during the event. It’s another great way for the community to meet and get connected.
As part of the Macleay Valley Arts Council, the organisers are putting together this fun family outing and hope that families from across the region can come along on the day. Those who are interested can get involved early and help out with preparations, or simply volunteer on the day. A picture tells a thousand words, so more information and images are available at riversiderhythmsfestival.org.au. It’s a great chance for everyone to get together and have some fun!
