Quickly becoming the valley’s favourite festival (February’s 2nd festival saw 2500 attendees despite the rain), the Nambucca Valley showed they really know how to come together to celebrate music, food, fun and community!
Open Streets Festival is back by popular demand for its 3rd festival in Macksville this September. Long spring nights mean amazing light and laser installations around the river, new amusements and activities, a brand new line-up of the region’s most exciting music and more fabulous flavours of local food vendors and businesses.
Wallace Lane and River Street, Macksville will come alive to the theme: “Our Rivers, Our Sea, Our Community.” Art installations from local schools and professional artists, pop-up street performers and musicians and a street busking stage will welcome emerging local performers to have a go. All this plus local markets, finale parade and fireworks and the same street load of activities, amusements, and action to explore into the evening.
This free and all ages festival is proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW, in association with Nambucca Valley Council.
