COFFS NEW GALLERY_Main space

New Gallery / Studio Space!

There’s a particular alchemy that happens when studio and gallery share a wall — and Coffs Harbour’s creative community now has a rare opportunity to find it.

Reasonably priced, short- or long-term studio space is available in a building constructed around 1936 as the town’s first purpose-built funeral parlour, a site that has spent the years since reinventing itself — most notably as Gallery 37, back in 2008 and more recently as the popular Laneway Gallery beside the Happy Frog.

The open-plan interior, with solid timber floorboards and high gabled ceilings, together with smaller private spaces, can be divided to suit individual artist needs. The building has front and rear access running from Little Street through to Park Lane. Generous wall space invites the opportunity for exhibiting your work and it is proposed to dedicate part of the space for artist-led workshops and classes.

The location places creatives at the heart of Park Lane, one of Coffs Harbour’s designated art lanes — already home to street art, the Laneway Gallery, Saltwater Freshwater Gallery and Headspace.

Come and make something here and then come and watch it become real.
