Manduway is a Gumbaynggirr and Barkandji singer, songwriter, and musician who has been performing for more than ten years in various bands. He finds empowerment in writing and performing music influenced by his heritage, language, and beautiful homeland.
Mitch King is a performing artist and a proud Yaegl and Widjabul Wia-bul man from the Bundjalung nation on the east coast of Australia. His main disciplines are music, theatre, and dance, and he loves telling stories through sound and movement. Much of his work explores living on Country and what it is like to live in the regional area of the Northern Rivers, New South Wales, combining cultural and contemporary practices to push his creative boundaries and create space for First Nations communities’ voices and artistry.
