This special show promises an evening of world‑class musicianship, emotional depth and exhilarating energy. Each track on Laura’s latest release offers a glimpse into her evolving sound — sometimes fierce, sometimes tender, always deeply human. The album weaves her Celtic roots with global influences, creating music that resonates far beyond borders.

Recorded and produced by Robin Wynn Evans at Tpot Studio, The Road to Tpot showcases Laura’s unmistakable voice as a fiddler and composer. Slow airs, driving reels, cinematic textures and evocative melodies combine in a work that transcends genre while staying true to her folk foundations.

“After 30 years of being a fiddler, it felt about time to finally make an album representing my passion for trad and folk music,” Laura says. “The road to Tpot studios in the hills of Scotland symbolised this wildly entwined journey of life and music — adventuring into the world, and coming home again to my roots.”

A regular favourite at No.5 Church St, Laura is thrilled to invite local fans and visitors alike to this celebratory performance at the prestigious Memorial Hall. She’ll be joined by guest musicians Conor McDonald, Emiliano Beltzer and Matt Ledgar.
