Join us at 5 Church St on Thursday, 9 July for an intimate evening with Brendan Gallagher. He’ll be drawing from his many albums and reimagining the songbooks of 20th‑century greats like Charlie Rich, Nick Lowe, Cole Porter and more – with plenty of stories along the way.
Karma County frontman and ARIA Award winner Brendan Gallagher casts a long shadow over Australian music. Across four decades, he’s worked on more than forty records, over half as an artist in his own right. He’s produced Indigenous luminaries such as Jimmy Little, Emma Donovan and Kutcha Edwards, as well as Australian icons Doc Neeson, Jeremy Oxley and Dave Mason. He’s also a film composer, prolific songwriter, author of The Open Tuning Chord Book for Guitar, and even a one‑off session guitarist for David Bowie.
