Art Space Urunga in July
As the coastal heat eases and the pace of the garden slows, Art Space Urunga turns its attention to the quieter beauty of the colder months. The Winter Show invites the community to pause, warm up, and enjoy a season of creativity in all its forms.
The Winter Show at Art Space Urunga is a celebration of the cooler season and the welcome relief it brings from humidity, relentless sunshine, and ever-growing weeds and grass. It is a time for reflection, for keeping warm, and for exploring creativity in whatever form it may take.
For this exhibition, participating artists will present a diverse range of works, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, ceramics, and perhaps a few surprises along the way.
Visitors are warmly invited to attend an open morning from 10:30am to 12 noon on Saturday 27 June, where they can meet and chat with the artists, explore the works on display, and enjoy a selection of delicious finger food.
The exhibition will run from 25 June to 8 August and will be open every day from 10am to 3pm at Art Space Urunga, 13 Bonville Street, Urunga.
