An Arty Christmas
Art Space Urunga is preparing to welcome back its much-loved Santa Sale, a popular annual exhibition offering quality artworks at a fraction of their original prices.
With every piece priced at $200 or less, the exhibition provides an ideal opportunity to find distinctive Christmas gifts while supporting local artists.
The exhibition brings together works that, for various reasons, have not yet found a home. For many artists, studios have become increasingly crowded, with artworks stacked against walls and filling every available space. The Santa Sale offers these pieces a new opportunity to be discovered and enjoyed.
Held earlier than usual this year, the exhibition is designed to help visitors organise their Christmas shopping before the festive season begins—and leave December free for holidays and relaxation.
The exhibition will be presented in a lively salon-style arrangement, with artworks displayed from floor to ceiling alongside three-dimensional works positioned on tables and plinths. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early: last year’s exhibition attracted a queue.
The Santa Sale runs from 20 October to 3 November. Its opening night will take place on Saturday 24 October from 5pm to 6.30pm, with delicious food and drinks served throughout the evening. Everyone is welcome to attend.
